My love for photography started when I was 17. I saved up for my first camera and I learned how to take photos with film, so I have an appreciation for the power of patience and waiting for the right moment.
I also grew up moving a lot and I have realized that we have little to no photos of my siblings and I growing up. I want to change that for other families. I want to make sure every memory is kept and documented. I wish I could have some photos of my mom raising three children by herself.
I believe real is definitely more powerful than perfect. I want you to look back and remember those early mornings, the messy faces, the tantrums and how much love your house was filled even at the most hectic of times.
The type of photography I capture can be classified as follows:
If you haven't noticed, I don't pose families or subjects. I like capturing humans in their natural essence. All the families you see photographed are not posed or staged or set up in any way. This is referred to as a documentary photography approach. I can't wait to document your family!
