I no longer do branding

Have you ever had to say goodbye to your clients?

Recently I decided to send an email to my previous branding clients because I decided to close my business at the beginning of 2020.

I sent an email to them almost twelve months later!

Saying goodbye is not easy, especially when it comes to business. Low key I didn’t want to say goodbye to branding because it was a nice cushion to fall back on. If I needed some cash, I’d say yes to design because it’s in my zone of excellence.

Moving pixels is easy, I’ve done it for a long time and I enjoy doing it. Moving through limiting beliefs with clients and taking them to the next level is part of my purpose. Coaching is in my zone of genius.

I see client’s results when I coach them and they can move much faster than with a logo I designed for them. We set goals, create a plan, and work through the obscure thoughts that cloud their vision. We create a clear path of execution.

I couldn’t do that with branding. So I sent the email, I said goodbye to my branding clients and promised them to serve them in other ways because I realized I’m doing a disservice to them and myself when I sit down and move pixels to create a pretty image.

Below you can find the email I sent my clients in case you are ready to close a chapter and say goodbye.

Dear client,

You are receiving his message because you hired me as your Brand Strategist, were interested in those services, or were interested in my branding course.

I am showing up today to give you an update about this chapter I am closing.

At the beginning of 2020,
I decided to close my branding agency. I said no to a lot of people and said yes to a select few because I knew I had to transition.

If you trusted my work with your business, thank you! I am forever grateful you chose me to create the visual aesthetic of your project.

After 10 years of moving pixels and developing brands, I realized my passion and purpose lie in building CEOs.

This is the email I dreadfully put off until today.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but I know I will always carry my knowledge and passion for heart-centered brands, and I will continue to serve heart-centered business owners.

Moving forward, you can expect to hear the following from me:

  • Productivity - As a #RecoveringProcrastinator I will continue to talk about mindful and compassionate productivity versus hustle and grind.

  • Mindset - As a business owner and someone who works with business owners, the way we think and use our thoughts is important. While we can't control the thoughts that come up, we can control what to do with them.

  • EFT / Tapping - As an EFT Practitioner, I will share how this tool has helped me and my clients with their limiting beliefs, emotional blocks, and mindset.

If you decide to leave, no hard feelings! I proudly wear my Business Coach hat, and I understand I'm not for everyone. In fact, I don't want to be for everyone. I exist in an open fence, open-door policy, and you are welcomed to return any time.

While I will no longer offer brand strategy services (not even exceptions), I can now support you with coaching sessions to help you elevate your brand and business. Hit reply if you're interested in learning more, and I'll be happy to give you more info.

Thank you for being here today.

To your success!

Close that door, the wind of your courageous action will push other doors open.

Stay shining!

Pam
